Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) participated at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, from July 22nd to 23rd, presenting destination’s diverse tourism offerings at the Azerbaijan Pavilion. Serving as a vibrant platform, the Pavilion invites visitors to engage with Azerbaijan’s rich culture, modern travel initiatives, and unique tourism products. 

Starting from July 23, 2025, foreign nationals will be allowed to visit the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan — including Shusha, Lachin, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Khojaly, and Khankendi — either individually by private vehicle or as part of organized groups, provided they obtain the necessary permits. This opportunity applies to foreign citizens visiting Azerbaijan for up to 90 days, as well as those with temporary or permanent residence permits in the country. 

Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) took part in the ICCA Mediterranean Annual Chapter Meeting, which is being held in Belgrade, Serbia from July 9 to 11. The event brought together industry professionals from across the region for three days of intensive networking and knowledge exchange.

Azerbaijan’s ornithological tourism opportunities were presented at the Global Bird Fair, an international birdwatching tourism exhibition held from July 11 to 14 in Rutland, United Kingdom. 

On June 23, the "Nomadic World Heritage Initiative: International Experts Conference" was launched in Baku, organized jointly by the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS). 

On June 24, 2025, Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) and Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) signed a strategic partnership agreement to enhance cooperation across several key areas. The agreement includes joined efforts in improvement of tourism accessibility and infrastructure, product and experience development, as well as overall industry standards.
